Configuring the Email Settings to enable email notifications and user comms
Admin -> Initial Setup
- SMTP Host: Enter the hostname or IP address of the SMTP server
- Port: 25 or 587 if encrypted using SSL
- User Name: Generally not required unless authentication with the SMTP server is needed
- Password: Again, generally not required unless authentication with the SMTP server is needed
- From Address: This can be any email address. Note that a mailbox with this email address is notĀ required
- Display Name: The name which will appear in the "From" field in emails
