Counterintuitive as it is the Recently Used Applications is part of the Hardware Inventory, if activated as per below it should start recording data in v_GS_CCM_RECENTLY_USED_APPS

How to enable Recently Used Applications in Hardware Inventory in SCCM

 

Administration -> Overview -> Client Settings

 

Right click on ‘Default Client Settings’ and click properties

 

 

 

 

  

Then navigate to Software Metering and ensure it too is enabled.
